'Cornishman'
G BT1458 was built in 1912 and supplied new to John Griffiths of Glamorgan and was later converted to a road roller for use in East Anglia. Whilst in preservation it was rebuilt to Showman’s specification and passed on to Tom Varley in the 1950s. After being sold to Mr Greenway of Berkshire 'The Cornishman' was then bought by Mr Bernard True of St. Agnes, Cornwall. In 1992 the engine was acquired by the Vincent family and underwent a complete restoration. ‘The Cornishman’ is a regular attraction at the Great Dorset Steam Fair.
